Say what you will about her self-serving co-host Joe Scarborough (I used to always confuse him with Sean Hannity), but Mika's only accomplishment is being Joe's sidekick: "you're so smart Joe... you're so funny Joe... harder Joe!" Jeez, get a room!
Mika simplifies the news to the extent where it's like getting the news from a foreign-speaking dishwasher - it's utterly useless. Mika has nothing to say that's worthy of knowing - ever. Just looking at that picture at the top of the page makes me physically violent.
This video makes me cringe: Morning Joe shows a funny sketch from David Letterman & Mika breaks out into a fit of fake laughter. Clearly a grab for attention. In a word: awkward.

I always hated her. MorningJoe is a great news show, but she destroys the integrity of the conversation. Only positive thing she does is to say dumb blond things that make guests feel comfortable with her foolishness. More often than not, the only times you really hear Mika, is when she asks a question or when she blurts in with a sigh, an exasperation or a "whaaaaa"?
There are many instances of Mika proving herself to be the epic moron she is. To save space and time, hear are a few highlights of her career as a bimbo:
-Mika presents her book (All Things at Once - about her life juggling being a mom & a journalist) but at an event where she was to discuss the book.. who's there to take over the presentation? None other than Joe Scarborough. Pathetic.

I don't hate her, but she's useless on that show. Joe Scarborough has no lips, and he's annoying too. Best to skip the show entirely.
Joe does his job--gives opinionated commentary on issues of the day. He's a blow hard but you can tell he thinks and he knows the issues and he is very articulate though often combative. I like the discussion that he and the regulars and the guests present. I agree completely that Mika is nothing but a bimbo who offers nothing but eye candy to the 60 plus, old man club. I often wonder about the reasons MSNBC execs have determined that she is anything but an irritating distraction. I often yell at the screen when she sighs and winces and bobs her head for her to just shut up and let the grownups do the talking. I think its good to have a female as a main part of the show but for God's sake, get a woman with a brain!
Mika is an insult to intelligent womankind. I feel like I'm watching an episode of Mad Med, listening to Mika in her bare-armed, short skirt, high heeled attire harp on the "boys" about minding their manners, watching their weight, and wearing proper attire. I've often heard her refer to herself as "mommy" while admonishing Joe and whoever about their behavior. Her eye rolling, heavy sighing, scolding, humorless attitude typifies the stereotypical henpecking wife that men use to justify their negative attitudes towards women. As a middle-aged woman with aspirations for my daughters, I wish women like Mika would go away.
Mika Brezinski is without doubt the the least qualified commentator to fill a news anchor set in television.

My belief is that Mika trades off her fathers name and stature and absent that she might be working in some women's clothing store. A job she is much more qualified given her limited intellect.

.....After a year of regularly watching "Morning Joe", I now tune to a prevously recorded episode of "Smerconish", "Fareed Zakaria" or "With All Due Respect" whenever Mika Brezinski is on the program. Unfortunately, this sophomoric/narcissistic woman constantly interrupts the panel/guests by interjecting her own personal life experiences or squeaks and bounces in her seat if she finds something "cute". Why not replace her with the intelligence of someone like Rachel Maddow ?
It's definitely hard to understand why she's on the show. She adds nothing and never says anything worthwhile. I have often wondered how Mika and Scarborough were selected for this show. Joe is a true, self-absorbed blowhard who thinks his opinion is paramount to the others on the show. He consistently talks over the other guests. Furthermore, he reminds me of that stereotype of the middle aged man who really still thinks he can be a cool musician. And Mika is an untalented excuse for a commentator. Mika, if you are reading these comments, please know that eye rolls and facial expressions do not advance your cause as a serious analyst. And, with all the talent available to MSNBC, I repeat, why, oh why, were these two selected for this morning show? How about giving us a serious thinker and scholar, someone like Joy Reed? She surely deserves something more than a Saturday morning show. I cannot watch this program any longer. CNN will be my new early morning staple.

Mika is without a doubt the most inept and incompetent anchor that I have ever encountered in the 70 plus years that I have been watching TV. This includes the anchors that you might encounter on major holidays at 6:00 a.m. who are not even on the network "travel team".
She is sublimely ignorant and relies entirely on the scripted scroll of the teleprompter and the directions of producers and director off camera in her earpiece. This is demonstrated in her constantly butchering the script scrolling before her. She reads the teleprompter as would a not too bright 6-year-old reading aloud something with which they are completely unfamiliar. The ridiculous syntax is because of her lack of knowledge of the material being presented. She literally does not know what is going to come next and punctuates her presentation with ridiculously timed causes and vocal expressions of surprise and misplaced. In addition she constantly mispronounces names - Ergowan - and places - Isrill- because she is not familiar enough to know what everyone universally does.
Additionally she constantly interrupts with brutally rude cutting in and most recently has begun to cackle hideously with what apparently she thinks is her new cute laugh. I try not to look at her at all, but it is obvious due to her fixed stare at the off screen info and activity followed by phony note taking she is once again demonstrating her absolutely relliance on others for her scripted remarks.
Her constant fondling of her branded coffee mug, covering it with both hands to keep it warm are just simply gross. Apparently there is a relationship with, since she often has Starbucks coffee containers on the table as well. This sort of behavior would have in the past resulted in a reprimand by producers and would have been stopped long ago.
There is also an obvious relationship between Mika and in that she is always wearing the same line or type of clothing, constantly adjusting and showing different looks for accessories such as shawls and scarves during the broadcast. Please, a 60 plus year old woman wearing sleeves that come down to her fingertips? How hip!
The only times that the show is watchable or when it is in the hands of competent people such as Katty Kaye, Willie Geiss as anchors and the good panelists that really make this show.
The above are just random examples of what could fill volumes.

Nowhere in America does any anchor at any level display the crudeness that Mika does daily. Example: her constant comments during segments in which she is not part of the discussion and totally off camera, sighing and oh my goshing, making comments that do nothing to enhance the discussion and causing these other speakers to have to hesitate or stop. And what about that incredible relationship with her coffee containers while on camera - there are ample opportunities for her to nurse herself during commercials and other segments where there are prolonged breaks from being on camera.
The whole stick of "Know Your Value" and the phony Forbes 50 over 50 is nothing more than blatant commercialism involving her promoting money making opportunities for herself while providing no benefit whatsoever to anyone; this is passed off as feminism and supposed to reflect on her deep caring nature about the status of women. Remember the good old days when Mika's role was confined to mangling the reading of excerpts from newspapers? As her role in the show has steadily expanded her severe limitations in terms of knowledge and ability as both a so-called journalist and simply as a host of a major cable broadcast have become so evident. The program has become terribly bloated since it was expanded from 3 to 4 hours. More and more frequently we are seeing what used to happen when the 6:00 a.m. hour was rebroadcast in part or entirely during the 8:00 a.m. hour. This is now happening during the last hour of the show. And what is it that prevents Mika from correctly pronouncing Israel? Where are the news editors, producers and directors.
Mika’s role in Morning Joe is pretty predictable from day to day. Stare into the camera, nod your head and stare some more. Scribble some nonsense onto her notepad appearing to be engaged in the topic at hand. Roll of the eyes, occasional head shake. She’s absolutely useless. Put any journalist or panel reporter in her place and the show continues. The show is all about Joe. Mika’s presence is merely a repeat of “take your wife to work day.”
